University Copywriting
I have over three years of experience working with universities in both copywriting and copyediting tasks. Projects range from brand development, logo creation, social media advertisements, department emails and newsletters, to event promotions. I am very familiar with adhering to a university's mission, values, and style guides.



CSU Thematic Year

Client (Colorado State University) launched a university-wide initiative to highlight research, resources, organizations, major events, and faculty and staff that all centered around an annual theme. Because the program was so vast, they needed a coordinator and writer who specialized in copywriting and content writing and who could design, maintain, and update their website.

I developed web pages for the Thematic Year as they transitioned from the theme of Health (first year) to Democracy (second). I wrote copy, including program descriptions, resources available across all departments, as well as profile spotlights from faculty and staff who conducted specific research across the university.

I developed social media posts promoting the Thematic Year.

I assisted in creating the menus and logo concepts for "CSU Year of Health" and "CSU Year of Democracy".

I love helping LGBTQ+ organizations recognize and expand on their established brands in order to reach a larger audience and cater to their specific needs and cleintele. My work with nonprofits include helping organizations with website copywriting, and brand voice development.

Client (Macy's) needed an orginal concept to boost sales during the holiday season so I developed the launch of Macy's mix-and-match gift boxes, where shoppers can pull a range of items from different departments and package them together. The variety of selections takes the stress out of holiday shopping for loved ones!

Shoppers can click on the "learn more" button, where they can find common pairings and an online wish list they can create and send to a friend!
